    Muffler hanger rubbers?

As in the rubber inserts that protect the can, what have people used to replace them when there knackered?

Don't think it would handle the heat.

I have a bit of 2mm Viton sheet you could try.

Viton is good to 200 C.

Viton sheet? (will do a web search later) but if you reckon it will do the trick its worth a go,as long as i can trim it with ok with a Stanely knife etc.Cheers flip, got a message from Imdying pointing out the heat thing re the tube (obvious really..doh).Got a mate in England that will send some purpose built ones downunder but it seems a bit over the top really, will organize to grab some of this Viton sheet off you, actually ive heard your pretty clever with bits n bobs and was going to ask if you would have a gander at an exhaust ive bought over in the states ive got a couple of issues with.

I have a man cave in the bottom of the old Meek St mill building, behind the council building. I think the rubber is there.

Because the previous owner didnt bother to have any hanger rubbers on one can and as i want to keep it i need to hide the mess it made...Its taken me countless hours to get the thing to this stage.
