    Dunedin 250 help

Hey guys, does anyone have a 250/sub 250 that I will be able to borrow in the middle of march for no more than a few hours?
I am sitting my full license about mid march and will be needing a bike to borrow, I think the test takes about 15 - 20 mins but I wouldnt mind an hour or so just to get used to the said bike, I will top it up when I am finished, and to sweeten the deal ill even give it the best wash of its life.

PM if you can help me out cheers guys.

If you have no luck on here...

I know of a couple of guys (not in Dunedin) that've borrowed a demo Scorpio/GN125/similar from their local bike shop for half a day in order order to sit their full in exchange for a box of beer. If you're not a real dodgey lookin' cunt and they've seen your face a few times before then I can't imagine the guys at MCR/McVeitch/wherever would have too much of a problem helping you out. If they have a bike just sitting there and you're leaving your '08 650 behind then it makes reasonable business sense to be GCs about the idea. Customer relations and such.

Im pretty well known at MCR, and I asked Rick the other day and he said they havnt got anything at the moment as they sold them all, could change by march of coarse, Otherwise they have the RS15's but they wont let me nick that without paying for hire

I dont really like McVagina, but I might go see them and see if I can 'Test ride' one

Go have a chat to Kevin (?) at MotoXtreme in South D. I've only ever seen the one guy in there and he's real laid back. Just going by their (probably out of date) website they've got a Hornet for sale. I think most of the bikes they have for sale are "on behalf" but I'm pretty sure the only guy I've dealt with there (possibly Kevin) could be tempted with some beer if he was confident you were going to bring it back in one piece.

Yeah I know Kev also haha, I had forgotten about the hornet in there, I will go see him tomorrow if I get time between work and tyre changes,

nobody is gonna lend you a 250, theyd have to set it up with smaller wheels so you could reach the ground . . .

I was just going to let the air down, I dont think Air is a WOF requirement? if so I will explain there is plenty of air on the outside of the tyre ... Should work
