Two votes this year

After watching the so called 'leaders' debate. I was thinking about splitting my vote this year. As per usual, one is split between labour trying to out national national, and national trying to out labour labour.

Then I realised that I get two votes not one. So I thought, well I'm a tory, so I will do my tory vote for my local tory MP. But, then I thought who will get my party vote.

Thing is, while I like nationals policies - I dont like em all. Especially removing the stress clause and the removal of carbon tax. So i thought - what other party has tory like views but also strong green/people views. Lo and behold Mr hyde (act) pointed out some of his parties green views - and I kind of agree with them. So I think they might get my party vote this year.

I've given up with labour because all they do is rob peter to pay paul and their limp wristed telecoms commisionor should be dumped big time.

Whats other peoples views on vote splitting ?

I like that we can do that - it has been my policy in the past to do so. Act will be getting my party vote, havent decided yet for the other. Voting for Act is kinda like voting for National in advance - National just "come up" with the policies Act has been touting for years anyway . . .

If we get National back in, sure there's going to be tax cuts (to the rich) but all the government owned stuff (for lack of a better word) such as schools and hospitals will all be sold off to the private sector. Just like electricity.

As for Act, *shudder*. Satan is huddled up in fear because of the impending doom of when those Act pricks run out of elixer and die and get sent down there

Ah well, I'm not old enough to vote anyway
