    This weather

    A pointless rant...

I don't know how much more of this 'summer' I can take. I am one of those people who just survive through winter by thinking of the coming summer. Now we get no summer. I am so over it. Time to pack up ship and move to a warmer climate. NZ may be good in many ways...but I really need a good long, dry, hot summer.

What's worse, is they teased us with the best Xmas since 1974.

    3 or so glorious days.

    Since then...

I just picked up my brand spanking new GSX1250FA and it is Chucking it down and blowing a gail...

At least my first ride was to understand her handling in high winds and rain. A tad scary with tryes that are not yet scrubbed in and new brakes not bedded in.

O well two more weeks off so hopefully it will clear up.

30 degree's in Napier yesterday, we are welcoming the wind today, even with 70kph winds you can feel the 24 degrees, cooking down here. If you are in Jafa-land... there-in lies your problem

We have sunshine today for the first time in nearly a fortnight, back when we had the last day of blue skies. Shite for business, good for farmers & keeps the dust down on my new favourite roads. Wettest summer i have seen up here. Still, I'm moaning in a t-shirt, that would not happen in Scotland, brrrrrrrryefukarrr.

Long as end of Feb and beginning of March is good down south, I'll be happy. Oh, and Paeroa.

It's barking mad and if it doesn't turn you into a complete loon within half an hour of cocking a leg over the lofty 875mm seat height, I'll eat my Arai.
