Nissin front pad wear - limits?

Hi there.
My front pads have approx 2.3 - 2.8 of pad left. Do they need replacing? I can't find out the wear limits on the net. Does anyone have any idea where I can find the limits on the web.
They are on my old BMW but were originally off a suzuki GSX I think.

Most of the pads I've seen have a wear indicator line in them. Once the line is gone, it's time to replace the pads.
