I'm in the process of putting a 86 VFR700f RC26 back into good working order.
Spent most of this weekend trying to get the old girl started. Unfortunately failed.
Think I have traced the problem to an open circuit pulse generator , one of two in the right hand side by the clutch.
Bit of research on the interweb tells they both should have about 400-500 ohms resistance. One has, the other reads open circuit.
Anybody know if this is a common fault on these machines, the best place to try and locate replacment, or better still has someone got one surplus to requirements they could pass on for a few bucks
