You'd need so many more inputs to make a computer ride a bike, it wouldn't be able to handle it. Give computers 5-7 years

I dunno... I've seen an article about a radio controlled bicycle, it used a piezoelectric gyroscope (like what they use in radio controlled helicopters) to help it balance.
All they'd need to sort out would be the computer stuff that determines what route to take.
On rough terrain I guess it would be a lot harder though.
