    Try these guys.

    www.martinsigns.co.nz/computer_cut_vinyl.

You want Premium cast. It is more expensive and needs 24 hours for the adhesive to cure, but it is the best.

    Area to cover? Colour/s?

I can't necessarily give it away, but will help if I can. Can also deliver in person at Vic meeting if that's not too late...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I'm writing off Rnd1 and will just go with a plain white bike.

Basically going for that classic RC30 red/white/blue look on a NC30 so need quite a bit!

I'm happy to pay and will give that place in lower hutt a bell, just not sure how this works. Do I just buy a roll of this stuff and cut it myself or do I need to draw up all the shapes and give it to the sign company?

If it's essentially just stripes, do it yourself. Do you have any idea what (we) signwriters charge?

What you do is measure the maximum length you will need, then buy a slightly greater length of 610mm wide cast vinyl in each colour you require. It shouldn't cost you more than about $20/m each colour.

My curiosity has overcome my natural desire to not appear ignorant.

EXACTLY what are we talking about here ?

    Is this
    1. stickers for promotional purposes ?
    2. a complete covering to replace paint ?
    3. a covering to protect paint ?

If 2 what are the advantages ? Is it some sort of shrink wrap ?

+cheaper than the equivalent design in paint

... and less gutting when you throw it down the road!

what would it cost for vinyl for my tank? I have a spare black tank that I could do with just the red top bit and maybe honda logo? My current tank has a big dent in it with some paint chipped off/ scratches so can either fix that or use my spare black one and vinyl over the top to look like this http://www.motorbikespecs.net/images...__91-92_12.jpg

    any idea of a cost?
