Oh man, I pulled a sickie and got outta work early yesterday, went to the gym then was gonna go for a decent-ish ride, but by the time I left the gym it was raining, went for a ride anyway - round the bays, only to find myself being blown around the lane by that godamn Wellington wind.
And I WAS going to pull a sickie today too . . . . Won't be able to come today waaay to much work to do!
Have an awesome ride tho Nomes, hope you get someone to join you!!

Hey Nomes, I get out of work today at 3.30 at Paraparaumu so could hook up with you anywhere you suggest. If you come up the motorway I could so show you the way back over the Paekak hill (at yr pace of course)

I'm at home sick (yes, really).....

Weather here (L/Hutt) looks lovely, have a good ride. (I don't like riding my bike when I'm not feeling 100% or else I'd be tempted to join you!)

    No! Go away.....

    Aw.... OK then...

Fark I had FUN at work today.. My little group hustled our arses off, got let down by another team so at 5pm there was a meeting of the sub 40 car club (R/C cars costing less than $40) and I was the last man standing! I stripped diff, one stripped steering, one buggered electrics... woo hhoooo!

Can't wait for summer so we can go up on the roof...

Moved on into the lounge (at 6pm) we built (my team using left over stuff) and pumped up the stereo, hooked in the PS2 and the young guys kicked my arse over a couple of beers...

    :-)

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Life doesn't have to work to rules pre-supposed by those who have their own perception of how such things work.

None of your business, or Kiwibiker's either.
