I do not know Cam personally but have heard from many people about what a wonderful person he is, and by the sounds of it a real fighter. Thoughts are with him and his family, wishing him positive progress through his recovery. With the strength that he sounds like he has, that will carry him far. I don't drink coffee but will contact you anyway foxzee to buy some and support him from afar.

    Here is the lastest update:

Hard update today. Yesterday, the head Neuro doctor told us that Cam will not be with us for very much longer. The brain is failing to keep his vital organs going and he is now unresponsive to anything. The lungs are failing to work on their own. He has now been put in room 12 of ICU. This is a room on his own and he can have any visitors at any time during the day. This is your chance to say goodbye to this special young man. One of the family is there 24 hours a day. He looks tired and peaceful. Sorry to post this, we know it will be hard for alot of you, as it is for us, but it appears that this is one race Cam is not going to win. Thanks for your ongoing support- from Felicity and Peter Jones
Your picture's in my wallet and I'm sitting on it. And if that isn't love, I don't know what is

Gutted for Cam and his family.

I for one would like my share of the funds raised for him to go to something the family consider doing in his name.... just sayin'.

Terrible news. My mother, sister and myself had to unplug Dad beginning of Nov, so I know how it feels to have to do so. You've got to appreciate that you're sending him to a far better place though.

    Condolences to all involved.

Sometimes the journey is just too hard and there has been so much love, strength and support along they way, but Cam has now reached the stage where he needs to travel ahead on his own. He will not be alone as so many people hold him in their heart.I salute you Cam for the great race you have had till now, you are heading over a different finish line, but we are all cheering you on. Peace to you always.

Deepest condolences to Cam's family. There aren't words to describe how sorry I, and i'm sure all of us are for you.

Dee, Jody has ordered two already, but sign me up for another two bags of espresso coffe please, pm to confirm.

Shit, I've never even met the lad and I'm getting choked up!

So sad to hear this news, my condolences to the Jones family. As per usual Cam's put up a helluva fight eh?

Hmmmm,I just had an image flash through my head of Cam and Marco Simoncelli trackside somewhere doing that hand movement thing that all racers do as they chat away......I hope you'll gimme an introduction when we next meet young fella. 'Til then you'll be sorely missed.

And that is how he should be remembered, Cam and Marco, awesome... attached is a photo of Cam following Budha, Yowling and myself... not often he was behind us, but we three old bastards didnt often let a young hairy arsed wee brat get the better of us, Cam did. I will post up more photos of Cam (less us yobo's in it) when I get the chance to sort them.

Peter Jones (oyster) will be taking this very very hard, If only there was something I/we could do, hang in there Pete and family.
