1988 FZR250 2kr. Had new speedo fitted at 37,839 kms with 53,244kms on the dial. Since then I've done 53,379kms so the actual kms are 37,974. Recent work done on the airbox (replaced I believe), new indicator bulb, new carburator seals , replaced Speedo, front wheel bearing, new headlight and work on the Exup valve (was jammed shut). The bike also has had some second hand fairings fitted to the rear section of the bike to replace the previous cracked ones. Pirelli Mt75 tyres. It was running up until a few weeks ago at which point I snapped the the throttle cable. Bike will need a new cable to run. The bike is very fast but it also very thirsty, this is because the carburators need attention, wether they need replacing or a damned good cleaning I am unsure. In light of this problem I am asking for $1000. I wouldn't recomend this bike to a novice as it is going to require some attention to get it to it's full potential.
I'm in no hurry to sell this bike, i'll update this post if I get a throttle cable etc.
