That's bloody shocking.
Shit. 2007 was a good year though - Tool, Muse, The Crystal Method, Violent Femmes. This year there's really only Sound Garden. But still, that's the reason there's not going to be anymore BDO's in NZ.

Now they're giving away free entry if you have a former ticket/tee-shirt/memorabilia.
Sux4u if you paid $175.

I'm not surprised the BDO died. Too bloody expensive.
Well worth the cost when the line up is decent. Shit I'd pay $175.00 to see Tool only. This year one of the headliners (who didn't come here) was some clown called Kanye.

2006 was probably my fav. One of the times I didn't get sucked into the boiler room.
White Stripes
Iggy and the Stooges
Franz Ferdinand
Kings of Leon (meh)
$170? Fuck yeah.
2011 best Big Day Out ever, Airbourne got the mosh pit pumping early on in the day (their live show is intense!). All decent bands and Rammstein was the greatest thing I have ever experienced in my life, not a word of english yet everyone enjoyed the show (even my mum said they were her highlight from up in the stands).
That's amazing the difference in the size of the crowd,i guess that explains it's demise.
This is what happens when you get bad acts to show up. This years acts were rubbish.![]()
I never get lost. I go on adventures
You're all wrong, '97 was the best year.
I was bummed that Sepultura and The Jon Spencer Blues explosion didn't make it, but that disappointment was utterly quelled by this lot:
There's been nothing like it since. Fear Factory burned a hole in my soul.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
