I dunno man, it was like Tool chucked on an ipod of their shit and went through the motions at the last BDO.

My opinion.

Kind of overshadowed by Rammstein who were insane. Tool is my favorite band so even the experience of listening to and seeing them live was enough.

I was bummed that Sepultura and The Jon Spencer Blues explosion didn't make it, but that disappointment was utterly quelled by this lot:

Fear Factory[A]

Supergrass

Shonen Knife

There's been nothing like it since. Fear Factory burned a hole in my soul.

It's ok, I saw Foo Fighters, Supergrass, Prodigy and Beastie Boys in Reading that year (or was it 98???)

Offspring would have been choice!

2011 best Big Day Out ever, Airbourne got the mosh pit pumping early on in the day (their live show is intense!). All decent bands and Rammstein was the greatest thing I have ever experienced in my life, not a word of english yet everyone enjoyed the show (even my mum said they were her highlight from up in the stands).

...and my dad, and my brothers. They drove me there and back. I have no stigma about that, my parents aren't squares. Once we got to BDO we went our separate ways. I feel sorry that your parents are boring.

They enjoy concerts and music as much as any other person, why can't they go to the same concert as me?
