Smile Why does Kiwi Biker have such a low level of technical support?

I have belonged to KB for many years and also to other forums as well.

The other forums that I belong to seem to have so much more to offer in the way of technical support and general encouragement. I have pondered this over the last little why and it has really come to light as I have again joined the TL community. KB seems to be so lacking

Is it because this big forum is so general and the others are specific.

Is it because KB is full of members who are so full of themselves they try and control most threads and its all about the ego.

    Is it a kiwi thing?

Even the mods are so full of themselves they control with and iron fist and don't listen to constructive information.

What do you think or do you?

I think there's just as much technical info on KB as there is on any other motorcycle forum.

There's just a whole lot else as well.

Yes mate maybe that is it. The good stuff may well just lost in all the ribbing and ego shit that goes on.

I might ask a tecnical question in a little while as a test

    See how we go

If you ask it in the right place (tech forums area) I've always found the response quite good and the mods keep it drivel free (or used to)

It's when it's just in a normal thread it turns to shit

+1 to this, might be we have a few more "experts" than real experts compared to other sites. But there is certainly some good advice to be had from here.

Not sure about the rest of the site, but the bucket racing section has masses of technical info.

Yeh I think your right. I'm thinking that when it gets to generic on a forum like this it just becomes bulshit.

You mean like all the threads about how there are no threads about whatever that person wants to post about?
