Yes. But only if you cut air intake holes in your frame.

If I have a bike issue, I just ask in the relevant forum and within minutes I have considered answers from experienced riders. Some of them are along the lines of, "Take it to someone who knows what they are doing".

    Perfick.

The level of knowledge & experience here I feel is fantastic. Not just technical knowledge relating to motorsickles, but the amount of knowledge in other, sometimes related areas (Law, Politics, etc).
Thats good, funny though I feel exactly the opposite.

As you can see this thread is turning into something similar to most others on this site.

O well guess I'm coming here for the wrong reasons.

On the other sites the trolls get kicked off way quicker.

As for the technical aspect. I have found internationally most bikers outside NZ are clueless morons. We rarely get a "Should I cut holes in my frame for an air intake?" or "I have just run my bike on diesel and now it doesn't work" threads here.

Why do you have an issue with your bike?
Lol no but that is a good question

It was just a question I had from visiting other sites with very good technical informatio and know how. Its just an interesting comparison about how some are willing to share there experience with out all the powerband rubber band talk

Specific model forums will always look like they have more technical support because they are solely talking about the very bike you have a vested interest in. I concur with Mr Deuce, there is incredible all round support on this site...if you ask in the right place.

I belong to a specialist site that is much more how kb used to be, in fact it is not moderated at all, so it has that "KB of old" wild west feel about it. I love it. The tech support there is phenomenal, I own two zxr's but rarely post as I feel grossly unqualified to do so in that company lol. I'm not convinced the mods here rule with a iron fist, some of the specialist sites will biff you out at the slightest whiff of colourful language.

I'll liken Kiwibiker to the Assen race track in the Netherlands. Once it was wild, long, fast, unpredictable and exhilarating! Then the un-appointed safety police came in and over time, slowly but surely cut the best most unique and special parts out, until all that is left is just another racetrack, largely like the all the others, having had the character crushed out of it by uniformity. I'd say KB is halfway through the process.

I generally find that after about two pages of most threads, the topic goes away from the original post topic. OOp's what page no. is this??

I think that people should read the site and its rules (as they said they have when they ticked the box to become members) before they submit posts like this. The site is called "Kiwi Biker", not "Kiwi Gob Shite". Moderators endeavour to ensure the integrity of the former.
