    Great ride today!

Been back for a few hrs now... just returned from a >600km ride... here was my route: http://g.co/maps/ubsfe

Thoughts - Waipoua Forest road was great, as was the road down to Twin Bridges. SH16 is always good

Here are some pics... I also used my GoPro and may upload some videos once I've had my beer!

Sweet as bro! We are doing those roads tomorrow. Did twin bridges last weekend twice, never get sick of it!

it was great... really love riding some of these quieter roads... at times i didnt see any cars for 10km!

one thing I do know is that dargaville seems a bit, well... how can I be polite?!!! the roads there were extremely boring... i really dont recommend the 12 from brynderwyn to dargaville... but needs must to get to waipoua forest etc.!

have a great run tomorrow... i'd do it again apart from the fact the missus may kick up a fuss!

Next time go through Maungatapere on the way up znd have lunch at The Office, a great Cafe at the end of Otaika Valley Road. The top road into Dargaville is much less boring too.

The Paparoa -Oakleigh road is a better biking option but takes a little bit longer.
