Please don't wind Robert up again. You know how he gets. I'm pretty sure there was a brolly girl crouched behind that sign anyway, possibly taking dictation.

Dan borrowed a bike from some bloke and won the round. Then rode it to the chippy for a feed for Brian and the boys. I think those other teams actually trailer their bikes to the track. Pussies. I'm just sayin.

No I will just remind him at the end of the championship, as I am sure he will if I prove to be wrong.

A little bit of analysis and transparency doesnt go amiss. Of course it also helps to be close to the coalface

Spyda started this thread with a very funny photo and the guesses at what he was doing were genuinely funny, as was yours. I like Dan, he is a great guy to talk to. Sorry Spyda no intention of hijack!

As ''stock'' rear shocks were mentioned lets do a critical appraisal of the Supersport 600 and Superstock 600 classes, that run together. In that mixed bag of lollies there are three brands of aftermarket suspension represented. Ohlins ( ourselves ) WP ( Ray Clee is the NZ distributor ) and K-Tech, one of those riders John Ross who purchased off the NZ distributor( Norm Cobb, Suspension Tech ) and plays with this stuff himself, and very well .We ( KSS ) prepped the 3 class leading Superstock suspension units, Jake Lewis, Johny Small and Dan Ornsby. While the shocks look stock on their outside sans Ohlins springs they are anything but standard inside. All three have Ohlins pistons designed for Indycars plus flow seperators and a few other internal tricks legal within the framework of the rules. Stock they certainly are not! So how much of the R1 rear shock is stock?

Also very apparent in the 600 classes was that the top 4 riders ( Charlett, Skatchill, Hassan and Ross ) were well clear of the field. Jake Lewis in particular and Johny Small ( aside from 1st race crash ) and Dan Ornsby were ahead of many of the Supersport bikes despite a horsepower and suspension deficit. Reasons?

I think Dan was pondering just how many suspension units can be successfully looked after by only two people.
