you should probably wait till youve actually ridden a 600 or a thou (and have gained the skill to do so) then review this comment!

True, But for 250's corners are more fun, even on the bigger bikes. Would you rather ride around coromandel or ride from invercargil to chch?

I'd rather ride my 600 everywhere except a gymkhana course...
Late model 600s will handle better than you and near enough to as well as an RS250 on the road, they also have that power stuff. Which, is kind of nice.

    I've had a GN250, MC19 Cbr250, A Zr250 (naked zxr250 more or less..) and a Vj22 Rgv250..And i'd pick the rgv anyday...Even with a fucked second gear it was faster than all the rest..

Quite a collection! Just found out from the bike shop my bike's been written off (they told my insurer a week ago, they haven't told me yet) Following everyones suggestions I'm looking for a 2smoker in my price range.

Get someone to look over it, if it's mech sound, it's great bang for buck

Luckily I know heaps of motorcyclists in chch. Then I could fly down and have a fun ride back to Hamilton. 10-12 hours worth of riding will take up a weekend.
