Talking The Perfect Pre89 Post Classic Project

Time has come to sell the racing dream as work and family take priority.
The complete bike goes well. There's enough spares to build another complete bike and almost a third. I just dont have time to do anything with it and it's sad to see it stored away gathering dust. The rego on 255 is on hold and there's two sets of road trim plus loads of race fairings, a set of half worn wets and some old slicks. Boxes and bins of everything needed for racing or road.

The Pom Bomb in pic 6 is not included.

Bit of a long shot on my behalf but if you are after a road bike check out Trade Me Listing #: 442046444 . It may be of interest but if not good luck with this lot.

    Cheers Mike

    What's the Pom bomb ?
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

    Yep soooo many priorities lol

Was having no licence for the last 3 months made me think track again, pulled it out to see what needs doing , got it to run and thought hmmmm , but needs lots of new bits like suspenders, rims etc
then low and behold only a week to go, so the HD needed a little tlc and money spent, so i can get back on the road,

Who knows, i might make the winter series i may not now lol

    Hey

Just FYI you cant race those bikes in Pre 89 - they are both running either a H2 (1990) or L model (1991+) swingarm - someone will protest against you.

happened to me when i was racing and had to swap back to a 1989 swingarm

not trying to hijack your thread, just sayin.........
