If a small % of people took your attitude the grids would be full.
    Top job.
No apologies necessary Merv, I was doing much the same thing. I had someone point you out at the Ruapuna prize giving but then had a beer induced blank before I could go and say gidday. All the best for the rest of the rounds, after doing the lil' low key bit I did I can really appreciate the effort you must put in with running a multi-bike and rider team.

Nice effort Spud !, Now if we can only get a few more Gingas out there - we could all have a tea party under the trees out of the sun. (except for Invers , where there are no trees / shelter ,....... oh and no sun ....)

Geez Glen,Trust a Ginga took find all the negatives,You never mentioned once how easy it is to find a place to swim,Or how quickly your hair is blown dry(or in some cases completely off),Funniest thing that ever happened to me down there was in 2000 or 2001,When we got there on the Thursday it was snowing down to 600 metres and freezing,Same all day Friday so I went to the Warehouse Friday night to get my son a beanie to try and keep him a bit warm and was told we dont have them til the cold weather comes ???????

Well done Spud,Glad you finally made it,Theres nothing like the 3 SI rounds with the atmosphere and comradery,Bet your planning next year already

You were quiet on the mike that weekend mate? The paddock was a lil' more PC but not as much fun. You did a great job at the previous rounds.

Here's the Teretonga proof anyway. The rear tyre was a primo condition pre-loved one from Level's with just 25 laps on it prior to Teretonga. I've never been to T'tonga before so did a pretty relaxed introductory 12 laps, then made a few changes to try and reduce the tearing before doing another 8 or so laps. Even at my pace T'tonga is savage on tyres if you aren't setup for it.

And an idyllic mid-Summer's dream riders briefing Sunday morning. Invercargill, the only place you'll find bikini's made by Swandri.

Haha, nice one! Just out of interest how did you folks get on with the 250/650's?

And congrats on the awesome setup you had rolling around, are you hiring out rooms for next year? Can I book one? I should be house trained by then.....

Didn't start from a place of wellness sadly , so bit of a struggle to begin with, however improved at the last round to pole position and a couple of fastest laps along the way on the 250...
Very glad to have had the "set up" to retreat to, especially when it rained!! And blew, and rained and blew, oh yeah - and was freezing! lol
Your establishment looked pretty alright too btw!

Hope you intend to come and play at the next rounds? Ya just gotta!!
