Not a vision R but I do have my shark race helmet which is more comfortable, quieter(wind wise) and harder to fog than my shoei road helmet. I just wish it wasnt so colourful.

Yes - I have one that I got from Cycletreads in August last year. I was told it was the first shipment.
My previous helmets were a Zeus cheapy which was heavy and poorly vented then a Givi H401 which I really liked.

Got the Shark because I was interested in the extra field of vision that it offered.

    What I like about it.
    - Massive field of vision! Almost feels like you are not wearing a helmet at all. Especially noticable vertically. You'll know what I mean if you try one on next to your current lid.
    - Visor venting system. A little tab locks the visor open a smidge so it doesn't fog. Works great.
    - The Sun Visor. I bought the Givi because at the time it had the best visor available. I think the Shark one is actually a little better. extends all the way down and is dark enough for bright days. Smooth movement too.
    - Build quality. Everything feels well made. The lining is nice, the breath guard snaps in place firmly, the strap is well padded and comfy.
    - Venting. Probably not it strongest suit as the vents are fairly small but they seem to do the job. It's been a fairly average summer so on really hot days it could be stuffy. If we get one I'll let you know.

    What I don't like.
    - The Noise! I never wore earplugs before except on long trips. Now I put them in even for a trip to the dairy. It could be the bike, it could be how I sit etc.
Whatever causes it there is no denying it's a noisy helmet. A combination of whistling and a sort of booming noise (which disappears at higher speed). What never goes away is the wind roar.
    - Paintwork. This is specific to the Matt finishes (mine is black with a white stripe). I knew a Matt finish wouldn't be as tough as gloss but I'm surpised how easily it marks.
If I was to buy one again I look closely at the gloss for extra durability.

Overall - a lot of things to like. For me the pluses outweigh the drawbacks. Mainly the extra size of the vision port which for me is a real plus.
The noise is a bummer but this could be bike specific. Earlplugs are cheap.
