Wanted: RG500 or RG250 expansion chamber

Hi, I'm looking for a RG500 or RG250 expansion chamber. Preferably the RG500 one, but the RG250 one can probably be made to work. If you've got one, can you please send me a PM?

    Cheers

Funnily enough I had an RG250 one I used for my H100 under the house for years expecting it to go to someone. During the move & lack of space I think I sacrificed it. Didn't work too well for my set up though.

Dave, that's just teasing! Argh! Never mind- the bore and stroke of the RG250 match the GP125 as well, but the power comes well beyond the GP's redline so the pipe would be a bit short. Nothing that can't be fixed though- there's some on trade me at the moment.

Gamgee- the other bloke sold his years ago to finance a port job, so no joy there.

What do you want it for. ALthough the RG500 pipes look similar to the RG250, and should be tuned the same, they won't fit. the header pipe is different. The RG500 list has the details - it is a while sincei I looked into it.
If you want it for the bucket, be better off making a pipe from scratch

Tis for the bucket. Thought it might be easier to modify an RG one (from either bike) to suit the GP

Weeeeellll, it's a bit expensive..... but I guess it's worth spening the $000.00 to see if it works. OK, you twisted my arm. I'll give you a ring tomorrow.

Cheers Mike. Rep coming your way!

Tony, theres a guy on TradeMe whose selling a whole lot of early RG250W bits, think hes got or had some pipes, they'd be ok as a starter, think he wanted $80 for the pair, not sure if hes still got them, hes also from Rangiora which could be handy. My old GP100 had a pipe from a RG250 Mk3, worked OK.

Cheers Gav- think I saw that one today. I'll give Stanko's one a try first.

You didn't sell that bucket many years ago to a guy in Nelson did you? Russell has one that looks similar sitting in his back yard- said he got it from a guy in Nelson

Russell's got one of everything sitting in his back yard or garage
