Fair enough. One of my mates lives in a black area, and the neighbours jump over the fence to steal tools or anything of value in the back yard, the guys across the road yell abuse at us, the people next to that house tried to steal my mates car, the people around the corner tried to hijack my mates car and they hit it with a baseball bat. Can't even walk down the road to the local convenience store in that area without some hoodrats starting trouble and a whole lot of black faces staring out the windows. Little cunts with spray cans walk down the street marking their territory, there seem to be at least 3 shopping trolleys dumped on the side of the road each time I go there. It's rather intimidating.

We got an asian next door but I don't mind her because she never starts any shit, so the perfect neighbour just about.

interesting.. must be bad down there? I've never been intimidated or robed.. and I'm pretty confident I'd walk alone in any neighborhood in New Zealand without a second thought

I lived in Sydney for while.. some areas there would make me feel a little vulnerable.

I've been robbed in bad parts of Christchurch several times by groups of youths, and there are parts of town I wouldn't walk around in at night.

NZ isn't really that safe a country any more, not with all the random street bashings that are occurring more and more often. It depends what country you compare it to I guess.

One's a cunt who set fire to the place, burnt out 4 acres and nearly burnt the house down, then couldn't be bothered apologising, and has also taken pot shots at the dogs - he'll get his one day.....the others are great - we ignore them and they ignore us - if we see each other over the fence we say gidday and move on. 5 houses in sight is 5 too many, anyway.........
