documentary "THE SEVEN SISTERS" & youll see that this planet was been divided up since ages ago. By the Cartel of the Seven largest oil companies. Some of the worst atrocities & civil unrest in the last century has been "made " for their direct advantage.And still is. By people we elected.Who either have worked for them directly (Rumsfeld, Cheney, Rice etc etc).Or indirectly

Now Im not suggesting that we dont need either chemicals/oil...its all oil init, but that there is a huge cost to these technologies & anyone who points these things out is then promptly labeled such & such by the media & that is all it takes to make anyone who advocates these causes to be discredited, & before they can even get to the point they have to endlessly quantify & defend their position....
Honestly I dont think these problems are that big....& with seven billion people working on it,I dont think it'd take long if we all chip in.
I really think we need to rethink the concept of Democracy & we need to come up with a new rule book pretty fuckin quick.

Faced that a looooooooong time ago and have no fear of dying... I'd rather not hand a pile of shit over to the next generation... especially one that's dictated by banks and corporates (especially oil) and war mongers and all for money at any cost, which essentially means death so that people can get rich. No drama in saying that, it's one of them thar facts of life, just like death, but a fact that is avoidable if people decided they didn't want to play such a stupid fucked up game... and as completely unthinkable as it sounds, I really really really don't want to live life that way... and I reckon the majority of people don't either.

I dunno why you guys worry about the Seven Sisters (the main oil companies) so much. After all they have been known and written about since the early 1970s when I was at high school. In fact from a business point of view they are boring. Steady as she goes no excitement no drama no big upside. By comparison Microsoft, International Business Machines, and Cisco Systems have been the go-to companies over the past 30 years. Computing gives control over banking, credit rating, employment history yadda yadda power over peoples lives.

Besides if the Seven Sisters are really that strong, join them. You can buy shares in every one with votes and rights and dividends and heaps of long term steady growth. What's not to like??

The oil companies are trying to reposition themselves as "energy companies" getting into solar etc but they are so large they are struggling to adapt.



2. Or some of the strongest companies in the world (which may include an oil company or two) will become so powerful they exceed the jurisdiction of sovereign nations. Science fiction has long predicted that world and space colonies will be governed by corporations. So far, governments still win and companies fail. So far...
