Honda GB400 cafe custom 1988 for sale

    1988 GB400 Custom - $3500 ono

Copied directly from the trademe ad:

I am very, very sad to see my baby go.

Honda GB400 in fantastic condition. This is a beautiful bike that was modelled by Honda on the British cafe racers of the 50's and 60's. It rides like a dream, This is one of the best handling bikes you can find - outhandles most large sport bikes. Completely new rear suspension. Clip on handlebars.

A unique take on a very well respected cult cafe racer bike. Regretting sale as moving to Australia.

Comes with extras (two helmets, jacket, new oil filter, photocopy of the manual). This bike currently has a great looking single seat fitted that I recommend you keep on at all times for coolness value. For the times you want to take someone with you though, I am including the double seat (which I sourced for $200). These are really hard to find. Will consider dropping the price $200 without these extras.

Excellent tyres with good grip. This bike has been recently repainted, and modified (tastefully styled new LED indicators and tail lights to remove unnecessary drain on the electrics) to make this example truly unique. You will not see another like it.

Owned and built locally by a trustworthy mechanic. Never burns or leaks any fluid. Starts first time, every time. Good, tidy fork seals. Always garaged and never ever dropped or crashed.

Brand new battery. Current WOF and reg.

Have you don't the cam chain or adjusted the tensioner at all?
