I seriously considered that some years back. If you don't like the view, just move to the next bay!
The only problem is that the word "BOAT" really means "Bring Out Another Thousand".


The local criminal mob "real estate agents" normally have 150 houses on their books, but at the moment only have 35.
The prices are reflecting this apparently.

Its a bit like that up here. I don't ever see myself being able to afford to own/pay off my own home. But I won't be letting that feeling stop me from scrimping away my pennies to go toward a deposit. (One day).

Don't turn down what you consider a shack (surely you aren't talking Northland bush shacks here) if its for the right price/in the right area if it means getting your foot in the door while the market has had a bit of a slump.
