    Comments/advice wanted.

Here is a link to my track day video, this one is cut into a short video but there is one other video for a full session in group 2.

Let me know what you think and where I could be improving. Cheers.

    1) SV650 - replace with real motorbike

    2) Who the hell let you put a Ducati tailpiece on a Suzuki!!!!

    3) WHAT THE FUCK WAS UP WITH THAT BLOKE IN SHORTS AND T-SHIRT ON THE TRACK AT AN ART DAY AND APPEARING TO BE INSTRUCTING???? !!!!!!!!
At least it seemed that way cos you were all watching.

That is pretty fucked up if my opinion is asked the organisers should know better, no excuses!

    4) Pukekohe can be an unforgiving place if treated lightly, do not treat it lightly whatever you do. Sometimes I think that people do, a bit.

I was wondering with that as well, he was showing the line back when I first started going there, they have made it clear now that they should all be in leathers even if it's just to show a corner.

Never treat it lightly, but I continue to push myself on that track, never reached any "Oh shit" moments yet, thank God!

Nice vid, like the sound track.
    My 2 cents?
Fit a steering damper to the SV if you haven't already.
Stay smooth and the speed will come, rather than try to go fast and push things.
Leave room for error, yours and others.
Look long towards where you want to go.
Spend any spare money on fresh Pirellis.
Keep having as much fun as you obviously already are. Motorcycle Racers understand why dogs put their heads out of car windows..

You need a lightweight powerful battery...
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!

Cheers mate, I haven't got a steering damper or the funds as of yet to purchase one. I am about to get a nice sticky Dunlop at the moment. Have a PR2 on the back, and a Diablo Superbike on the front, also a superbike slick for the back but don't think I am ready to experiment with slicks as of yet.

Yea I am having a bucket load of fun, I usually ride a GSX250 so have only got this bike recently for the track and have only taken it out 2 times now? So I am moving along happily but hoping that group 3 will help me improve lap times, lines and being smooth. Going to have another Sv650 out with me to do a session and see what i can do with the same bike in front of me. Will also be trying out a 675 and a GSXR750 for a shit and giggle.

    A couple of pointers:
On the right handers you missed the apex on; Identify your turn point, and move it a little later. Then turn later, faster, and turn your head to look through the corner (before you actually make the turn). I think you got it on the corner before the back straight, but you tended to miss some.

    Hope that helps a little....
Can't really give too much out without following you.
