Looking for a affordable bike (pref. 400cc-750cc)

    Hi,

I'm looking for a cheap bike preferably between 400cc and 750cc (larger might be OK). (I just put 1 into the $ value field as it needed a number).

I don't need something pretty, just functional and roadworthy - as long as it has (or can get) a current WOF then I'll be interested.

If anyone has anything that might fit these criteria, please contact me. (phone 021 100 9611 or PM me on here). I'm based in Wellington, but could go a little further afield to pick up. I'm ideally looking for something before the 18th of this month...

    Cheers,

    Dan.

I saw those and the Kawasaki is interesting, but might be a bit small for the intended rider (he's 6'4" and pretty solidly built). I'm going to ask him what he thinks though.

The XS would be more interesting if it hadn't been deregistered but I don't really have time to get that sorted out before he gets here.

Thanks for these suggestions - I'm definitely still looking at the moment, so any other options would really be appreciated.

the dereg is no probs.Quick trip to popo with old plate number and chasis you gets papers with no interest signature(free).
trip to vehicle testing station rego warrant and plate only diff is you pay for plate.
Doesnt need brake declaration as its before the date that its needed. Its really no harder than a warrant of fitness but you will need to drill holes in new plate and mount it.
