Am trying to figure out how to make Hamish think he wants it, and buy it for himself and how to make him think it's his idea. Would it be too greedy to have three Monsters? (This one's a 4-valve engine, so it's quite different to my current two......)

Not greedy at all, race one, then the other two are different versions of the bike and it would be wrong not to have the set!

If I was in NZ at the moment , I would have considered getting it as a second Ducati at that price !. But still would have a delemer similar to LB's , would need to convince the wife that owning two would be a good thing (I could always lend it to her )
