Ebay turned up a rough diamond in the exhaust department

Been looking about for awhile for some cans to use on a 2/2 same sided exhaust, stumbled across this today so snapped it up,needs a bit of work and will change it a tad but over the moon to find it.

$125 US mate which is less than i thought it would be to be honest. It needs work, theres a pin hole and crack to be welded up but some TLC and i think it will come up ok,its certainly different and rare as rocking horse poo so a must have i reckon.

I jumped onto ebay straight after I read your thread as I've just disabled the SET valve in the factory system, and as suggested to me last night maybe it's time for a full system. The factory headers and midpipe are titanium but they still are the factory system, so there's room for improvement with an full Akrapovic or Yoshi set up. Couldn't find anything today though.

Give Ray Clee a bell, there's a chance he'd still have some Yoshi systems lying around. K4 ones will fit your bike too.

Brian Bernard had some extra bits lying around from his K4s too come to think of it, Billy would be the man to contact on that front.

Shouldnt be much different to what i have, its still 2 cans eh,will see how it goes but already thinking of ditching the cans and putting 2 smaller ones on there, then again if it costs money i dont fancy my chances of getting anyHad a look round on the puter and found a few pics of the thing (very similar) mounted on a TL back in the day.

Bob Toomey has (or had) a full genuine Yoshi TLR1000 race kit I believe. He may well part with it. He's in Tauranga now days I think. I may be able to track him down if you'd like something like that mate.
