What are the best racing leathers for a beginer? (quite cheap)

just wondering if a 1 piece if safer compared to a 2 piece?
and are they practical on the road?

One thing to keep in mind is that the cut of race leathers is set up so they are tight when you are in the raceing crouch. Loose leathers means leather burn on your body.
But if youre road riding.the cut needs to be different.

I bought a set of leathers from Leather Direct (about$500)..really comft..raced at Wanaganui in them a couple of years ago and they did the job when i offed at manfield last year on the Katana 1100...How tall are you young one? might be tempted to sell them if you want.....not racing anymore
