Two and a Half Men - Ashton?

What you peoples think from the start last night's new season with Ashton Kutcher?

Personally, I think the show without Charlie in there just wasn't the same.
Mr Kutcher's part looked like it could have been played by anyone.

Still, I'll give it time and see if it appeals to me.

Some of the reviews online tend to agree with me...

I don't know I think the scripting sorta suited Ashton, but I think the show could fall victim to the "it's not Charlie" i.e. if it had of been it's own show it could stand on it's own 2 feet but since it's a alteration of an existing show it'll forever be compared to Charlie "Charlie did it better" "Charlie would have done it different" "that's not something Charlie would have done" "Charlie would have done something just as funny" etc

A lot of the humour was not so much Charlie, but Allans' reaction to Charlie.

Thus, with the new Billionaire house owner etc, it's business as usual.

I think it'll just be a mildy amusing sit-com now, as without Charlie I can't see it having that edge that he provided.

He should've stuck to banging Demi.

I though it was OK and will keep watching. Will miss the advanced banter between Charlie and his mother, however Allan Harper's still the star of the show

I watched the first 3 episodes and it (IMO) didn't get any better. AC's character is dull and not funny, can't see it lasting past this season.
Now if you want sommat new and funny try Impractical Jokers. Funniest new show in ages.

It was OK but certainly not as good without Charlie even though Berta's and Jake's wit remains. Alan was funny but pathetic funny of course - the other two are just priceless funny.

sorry but i think the show was mildly amusing at best and now the kids grown up i don't watch it at all as it is just full of obvious sexual innuendo crap and one liners that have been played out in other shitcoms for years...........charlie sheen isn't funny at all............his writers can be at times
as for ashton kutcher............Kelso in that 70s show he played well but hardly the acting worlds toughest role..........think hes a bit of a plonker really

He was clever enough to escape Demi.

two and a half men translated means 'charlie sheen, and a couple of peripheral actors necessary for certain jokes to be made'.
    ashton kutcher is a dickhead.

    will never watch it again
