Average condition, wouldn't take much to get on road or convert to bucket

Hi there, no photo yet but will update soon as possible.

Bike is de-registered because I had too little money to pay registration, and couldn't put on hold without paying off registration owing.

Mechanically pretty good, but rough fairings. Would be a great bike to turn into a bucket racer, or you could get it back on the road easily. Have this bike and another listed, want to sell them both in order to get a new bike but don't have the time to fix them up - my loss is your gain. If you're interested in picking up both I am happy to negotiate. KMs are rough from memory, can't check without charging battery (hopefully it'll hold charge ) but will update when i can.

FYI - next time you have this rego problem you can change the ownership to a new person and it stops the old rego accruing and the new owner can immediately put the rego on hold. I know it's too late this time.

Wouldn't that just leave the old owner liable for back rego?

You're liable for it either way, but if you change the ownership you can put the rego on hold so it doesn't have to go through a VIN check. I have done this twice in the past year myself.
