lol, and that engine still pulls burnouts, redlines in all gears, at 32 years and 170ks+ old
Lets see a post 1990 bike do that
Ralleys eh, a place for us all to play.
Lets all have to good riding skills to avoid the crazy cagers and see many more in the years to come.

sorry, but... ohh no Im not... I just dont see the fun in burn outs, its non skilled and lacks any kind of tallent and Im fucked if I know why any one would wont to treat their bike in such a way, engine parts getting beyond their max temp, paint getting fucked and rubber melting in and around suspension, exhaust, tails... and then theres the wires cutting the shit out of everything in its way... for what? the foul smell of rubber
And one day a chain will break and cut the twit in half standing behind the bike

... ohh wait, it usually involves booze or the lack of handling it and the need to prove, prove ummm, how powerfull ones cock, I mean bike aint?
    cheers DD

Fair enough call Dan from your side of the wall
But there is a skill in doing a decent burnout, although what it is you obvious don't know.
yup, some do "thrash the shit" out their bikes trying to do one,
yup, drink quite often is involved in the lead-up to doing one
yup, damage to the rear of the bike can occur when tires let go and the belts start to fly
Nope engines don't get damaged if done properly,
Nope chains don't break, under less stress than on a race track.
Body damage does occur, but not as much as a road racer dropping it, pulling the same revs, after 5 bourbons or 7 jugs and thinks he is a rossie .
At least after a burnout, an acc form does not need to be forwarded if it all goes wrong.

Yep yep correct but still worth a photo lol.Not my bike wouldnt do it myself.
And yes all the bikes lost wiring from brake lights tail lights and paint heat damage and numberplates melted.
I didnt try standing behind the bikes as burning rubber doesnt do it for me.

Jeez that clip looked familiar and I wasn't even there! Drunken yobos...

As for the Hare, yeah I was there. Wondered around, had a bit of yarn with some of the chch crew and even caught up with mossy1200 and his other half.

The Sunday ride home was great, stopped at Benmore dam for a wonder around - not a lot of stones for skimming on the water. Lake Pukaki was much better...and even had a cloud free view of Mt Cook.
