    Parts for Honda CM200T

    Hi all,

A bit of a newbie here, but I am looking are doing up a 1982 Honda CM200T.

Can anyone give some advise on the best place to pick up parts etc? Obviously somewhere local would be nice, but not worried if I need to go overseas as long as the postage doesn't blow the cost way out.

    Cheers.

Hey, thanks for the fast reply.

Managed to grab myself a manual pretty easily, there were a couple on TradeMe in good knick.

Currently working on cleaning up the whole bike before I get too deep into anything, I find it tends to be a good way to learn your way around a new bike and as it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years it should do wonders.

Tank is in the process of getting polished, got some areas with something nasty on it that is stripping back when enough elbow grease is applied but it's an annoying job so I swap between this and removing built up grim and crap from other areas.

Will check out the dismantlers you noted, not after anything specific yet, just trying to line up a few places so once I get more into it I have some places to hit.

Casbolts are still in Manchester Street, look to be mostly undamaged which is nice.

Can't make you a cuppa, but if you are ever in the neighbourhood I'd be more than happy to buy you a beer.

    Cheers.

They are at the Moorhouse Ave end.

Generally speaking the bike looks to be in pretty good condition considering the age, a bit of a dent in the right hand side of the fuel tank, but nothing else untoward.

At least it is simple enough for me to have a bash at.
