It is just another Goverment department ... reliant on taxpayer money to survive. As with that "Other" Goverment department (IRD) ... it developed it's own authority and power (ever increasing) to merely do its job. I think its a shame. She's proud of the lowest road toll ever (last years). Hails as a career highlight. Who would've thought that a police Supernintendo would invent SRS airbags, restraint systems, lay better roads, build crumple zones into vehicles, develop better tyres. All of which no doubt are the real reasons the road toll lessened.

I always liked the woman. She has that elfin face and impish smile and inner 'aliveness' that in big eared woman always appeal to me. Could be just my aspie bromance thing though. That is very true, but i can't find reference in anything I have read to any other but the employer/employee levy. And that is the one that has gone up, gone down, probably going back up, and has been opened to privatisation before. The decision by crusher collins will be tabled to cabinet on the 29th.
