911s (old ones) in my experience aren't too dissimilar to motorcycles. In a very broad sense. Different driving experience, very agricultural, huge fun, watch the handling. But, I agree, most Porsche owners are dickheads. Especially the rich ones.

I love Porsche. They make me happy in pants.
One day when I grow up...

On a related note, there's nothing that gets the spinal chills going better than being in a pre-996 winding up through the revs

I know a fuckload more wankers that dont own Porsches than do own them, perhaps him buying a Porsche turned you into an instant wanker.
Or maybe he senses your hostility towards his success & has written you of as a tool.
Ive found that as one moves through life, some people need to be left behind, possibly you are one of those.

One of these would do nicely. Great price for someone brave.

Mate in Pomgolia bought one as his last pre-children hurrah...tyres a thousand a corner (and that's pounds) IIRC.

You mean a new one? Older Porsche, $200ish a corner.

It was a few-year-old 928S back about 15 years ago so my memory's probably a bit hazy but I clearly recall nearly falling off my bar stool when he told me the price!

Nice car them I'd happily stroll around in a 928, then slam the V8 in to a 944...
