    Why does it cost so much to keep someone in a box?
    Probably have higher standards of living than I do.

    You guys don't think much do you?

    If you divide the TOTAL cost of all of the buildings, staff, electricity, other amenities, and divide it by TOTAL female prison population, it costs 50% more PER FEMALE INMATE.

    It's a numbers game. There's a lot more male prisoners. Hence the per capita cost it less.

    Sigh...

    We obviously need to imprison more women.

    I for one would be in support of my tax dollars going toward industrial quantities of Johnson'sŪ Baby Oil. Also plenty of surveillance cameras. Per capita cost be damned.
