hey. just looking for some warmers and not wanting to spend a whole lot.

This site has warmers for around $300 odd, which seems cheaper than most new products I have seen.
Anyone used these and have any feedback?

Come on! What is it about always having to find the cheapest deal and then that isn't good enough either?
The HotHoops product is made in China by the same factory that makes the Sumomoto, MotoGP, Sportbike etc etc etc warmers.
Roost industries has not developed a tyrewarmer. They just buy off the market and have their brand name put on them.
They work well, for a while.
Then, due to the way they are made, the element will develop a hot spot and burn through the cover. They will all do it at some time, you'll just never know when.
If you are lucky it will break at that point, but more likely than that is that the element will get hotter and burn into your brand new tyre that you have just fitted.
I have seen it over and over and over and been approached to repair said warmers, which cannot be done by the way.
And then what do you think will be your chances of getting any assistance from the so-called reputable dealer or the manufacturer?
Hell, chance, snowballs in, I would think.
Good tyrewarmers (made in UK and Italy, and I know that for a fact, not just marketing spin) that offer deep heat penetration, good sizing, tight fitting and, go on, guess what.... after sales service, advice and assistance (!!!) are available in NZ from a local schmuck who has taken the risk to stock inventory to service a market that appears to not really give a shit about that. Until it is their widget thing that has gone belly up, then who do they cry to??
Have a look at tyrewarmers.co.nz and really think about what an extra $100 or less is going to get you. At the end of the day, if you don't want to spend a whole lot, then you won't get a whole lot (but actually you don't need to spend a whole lot to get something good).

hahaha, awesome. apologies for my ignorance.. I am hoping to play a bit at the track and not invest too much in it (yeah good luck to me), so hence the attempt at a miserly approach.
in light of your detailed and informative post it seems hot hoops these are not quality enough to take a chance with.. so cool, I'll save some more pennies and check out the site you posted
...I can't know till I ask.. so thanks for taking the time to respond.
Ah shit, here we go....
Someone who can actually read, take advice in the spirit it was offered, not take any offense and enjoy the experience...
I've had enough, what is KB coming to!
But good on ya Ben. I think you actually realise full well that if you want to do this thing, you should do it as well as you are able and that means getting the best gear you can afford. The tyrewarmers.co.nz brand warmers will not cost you a hell of a lot more than the $300 or so you were thinking about. CapIt? Yes, about double that, but then you would be buying world class tyrewarmers, ACTUALLY exactly the same as used in MotoGP (except they use digital control, which you absolutely do not need).

Goodness! And all that for only $300! If only I had some hooker money left.Good tyrewarmers (made in UK and Italy, and I know that for a fact, not just marketing spin) that offer deep heat penetration, good sizing, tight fitting and, go on, guess what....
