    Hard Bastard Award

Doug Fairbrother from Greytown raced his 851 Ducati at Paeroa last weekend, is riding his Aprilia RSV1000 to the Sound of Thunder this weekend in Christchurch, racing it, then riding it home then he'll be off to eastern creek next month on the Ducati for the Barry Sheene Memorial race. Before that he'll be doing the Cliffhanger hill climb in the Wairarapa, march 10/11, probably on his Triumph Bonneville and/or the Aprilia.
Not bad for a 60 year old eh?

He's been around for a while, thats for sure - i used to race against him at Te Marua speedway over 30 years ago.

Edit - on re-reading, realised how old I am.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
