None of it actually matters to me all that much either. (I just like stirring you up.) These guys are athletes at the top of their game with levels of courage, skill and determination the rest of us can only wonder at. It's a bit much to expect them to be well-rounded, charming, perfectly behaved human beings as well.
There is another facet to this. It is of course a UK company That sells primarily to Europe, European fans ( and there's a lot of them) support European riders, for the most
part, ergo every rider in the top sellers list is European.
If you guys were inclined to buy a statuette of a rugby player, I'm guessing most of you would buy a little pewter Dan Carter rather than a Little Johny Wilkinson, even
though Johny is probably the better player![]()

Casey fans will be pleased to note there is a #27 Repsol replica in the works. Maybe he'll feature on the list next year?
I'd quite like a set of the GP bikes on my desk, one each Honda, Yamaha, and Ducati, but the Minichamps models are a bit too expensive to be an impulse purchase.
There is a grey blur, and a green blur. I try to stay on the grey one. - Joey Dunlop
there are many many notable riders(World Champions all of them) missing from that list, not just Casey Stoner
I am a fan of Marco's, and was gutted by his death. In my opinion I'm certain he would've been a future MotoGP champ. And that's why he made that list, because a lot of other people recognised his talent. It's not because he died that he made that list, it's because a future star has been lost. If he hadn't died, I'm sure people would've still bought his model, but not in the numbers to outrank Rossi, 9 times world champ...
