I have been emailed a pdf from Auckland Transport that states-

FREE Motorcycle Breakfast
Come and join us for our first Auckland wide Motorcycle
breakfast at the Fish Market. Auckland Transport is running
a safety campaign for motorcyclists in March.
FREE giveaways, a chance to win Five Urban gloves,
Motomail vouchers and more fun interactive activities.

Happy to be there, maybe time for our Mayor to have a punch up the bracket.
Just be a good chance to discuss Auckland roading policy with Mr Len Bastard, who incidentally, considers motorcycles, too dangerous to be included in the overall Auckland plan and would like motorcycles excluded from any and all future roading plans in Auckland.

The majority of motorcycle crashes that involve another vehicle, happen because the other driver failed to see or give way to the motorcyclist.

The most common reason other vehicle drivers give for their involvement in motorcycle crashes is “looked, but didn’t see him”.

WTF?
Where was Nick Smitt or Junkey when that one was discovered?
Take a stand FFS! One way or the other.
Auckland roading, has NO policies on motorcycles or how bikers can be involved in the decision making process, might be a good time to be having breakfast..
