Look - reading the story you get the sense that he didn't really stalk anyone or form an intent to go out and rape a kiddie. However, hes 16, probably not the brightest lamp in the fitting and has been raised around booze, drugs and violence. Seriously though, I would only kill the imediate offender. I'm not a fan of blaming the family entirely, nor the environment in which he grew up. He knows right from wrong, or he couldn't have been tried under our justice system, (piss off Scuba Steve, it's flawed but no one wants to step up and change it, so lump it)!

So, knowing right from wrong he had a choice and he got it wrong epic style.
