    "ROOF" brand helmets

Was watching a program on Sky a few days ago about a woman touring through the south of France on her Triumph. I think it was called "Wild Camping"

Couldn't help notice that she was wearing a ROOF helmet. Looked pretty flash - the whole chin bar rotated 180 deg to the rear and out the way. Bit like a Shark "Evoline"(?) model.

Just googled them and they look awesome.

Anyone got one and if you do, what are they like?

about 7 years ago my brother crashed low speed (20 metres from his house in a culdesac) and the roof lid shattered into pieces. his head was ok, but he was knocked out. dont know what model it was. and its better that the helmet dissapated the energy and got destroyed, avoiding any damage to his head. ive never seen a lid like that before or since. but i would pressume that things have improved since then.
