    Cool

I heard on the radio when I stopped at the BP glendene gas station just before that the motorway is opened again.

I went throu that area before when I was heading to the city.. I think that they were repatching up the area that was hit before by that truck that hit it a few months back.

The concrete had broken away and I could see the steel.

Muahahaha I was getting off the onramp within a minute of it happening (at te-atatu) so the traffic was only 100m long.

Got paid by my current work contract to 'detour' around the mway by the highly direct and efficient route of scenic drive muaahahahahah... jobs dont get much better than that!

A trucks HIAB hit the bridge and the truck took out the median.
Both sides were closed for a spell. The bridge might not be usable though.

    Cool

The road from Edmonton to the motorway was clogged and thought shit not another accident... but traffic moved fairly quickly.... I was able to laneslip throu it all.

I must admit when I was sitting at the lights to go over the bridge to head to the motorway, I watched this huge truck come up the off ramp and then go straight over and back onto the motorway... I thought WTF is that truck driver doing.... lol ... He was soon followed by heaps of cars doing the same thing.

I looked down to the left and saw the motorway clogged up... thought fuck there is a accident.

But when I got the green light to proceed.... going over the bridge I looked to my right... and the motorway was clear... thought huh !

It was as I was going around the circle entrance to the motorway that i spotted all the orange cones.... must admit there wasnt much room for some cars to get throu.... thank goodness i was on my bike.

But a cop had stopped a dark green car... wonder what that driver did lol.
Heaps of cops and road workers on the other side of the motorway heading the other way... just by the off ramp at Te Atatu.
