Brilliant video and great to see Kevin take a shit in Wayne's helmet. A real braking masterclass. Spyda's commentary was, as usual, hard to follow.
    "That's rooted!! What's next??"

Still one of my favourite races
Gardner the scrapper with his fairing loose & rattling around from a massive tank slapper
Doohan just starting to come to the fore
    Rainey being Rainey
    Schwatz being Schwantz & crashing

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0niPmkyXzNc Sorry the commentary is in wog

The 89 race was pretty good as well, Gardner ran up the back of Rainey twice Rainey described Gardner as the sloppiest rider around, like a bulldog on a bike.

    Thems the days.

I remember watching a race from that era back in the day at the Hockenheim round where Gardner's rear tyre was falling to bits due to the extended high speeds. He kept on it though despite chunks of his back tyre flying off at 250+km/h.

(and his bike actually got faster as the fairing steadily dropped)

3:09 to 4:mins in first video Crazy, crazy, crazy. Used to love watching those guys. The racing these days almost seems sterile by comparison.
