I am to understand Nathanael was running ahead in the first ~1/2 of the GP only to fall in the S's. Shame & shows that when the race starts some of the prequel races etc are not the full story. This could have been the 2 stroke victory but for some bumps in the S's. maybe. A race is the full length.

But the state of Taupo! Those repairs are a travesty & the lines painted on the entry to the main straight - shit a brick! In the dry they were unsettling, but in the wet my front tyre (old) was twitching every line & every lap I was wondering if it would have me off.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

Yea they're not fun at the best of times. Theyre due to get them(the patchs in the corners) fixed soon, but dont know when. Bugger about your bike, you were hauling out there before then.

It depends on who hosts the GP. The BOB is a special event run under a different formula (55min +1lap) & should not be tampered with.

    We should still all go.

It is a great track -certainly miles better than Taupo & the SI guys are a good crowd. Hasn't been a northern win there yet that I am aware of, but I got real close maybe 8-9 years ago on the trusty H100 which sadly got less than trusty 5 min from the end with a comfortable lead when it ran a big end.

Lets think about a truck. Who has their HT?

I have my HT licence's as well if need be.

Could get a truck from auckland and bring it down picking up along the way.
