2012 North Island KB Gathering - Expressions of interest

Hi All,

Looking at who's keen to do the KB Gathering this year over Queens Birthday weekend in June. Thinking of staying at Taupo this year, more options of riding areas and activities. Let me know if you are interested....

I'd be kinda keen.. but I can recommend staying at the Ruapehu Christian Camp (dont let the name fool you..)

Its at Kakahi (about halfway from Taumaranui to Ruapehu). Its cheap.. and beautiful.. I've stayed there a couple of times.

It's going to be tricky finding somewhere as good as the Oasis cafe to congregate.

Thinking about checking out the Top 10 holiday park in Taupo, pools just down the road and very close to the Taupo bypass. Gives us a good central position to ride in whatever direction (away from bad weather I hope).

Geez, the Top 10 is miles away from anything. Corinne and I stay at Blackcurrant Backpackers whenever we're in Taupo. Good price, nice rooms and easy walk to food and drink in town.
