    Windows Moviemaker, 2 Questions

The last few video clips I have published as a movies have come out with a green lower half and a distorted picture in the top half. Could it be the camera ( VholdR ) or the Window Movie Maker programme?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ticQ...ature=youtu.be ( 8 sec)

I uploaded the clip so I could add to to this thread. Does a video clip have to be loaded on You Tube in order to add to a KB thread? When I click on the 'insert video' button I get a URL request. Still images, no problems.

    Thanks for any help.

    Can't answer about Movie Maker.

Yes, videos have to be uploaded elsewhere, then linked to them from KB.

Are you using Windows Moviemaker Live that comes with Windows 7?

If so you can just click on the YouTube icon and it saves the file in a suitable format (I think it suggests a resolution) and then automatically upload to your YouTube account. If you're using a previous version then just try to save the file to different formats (maybe start with some lower resolution settings so the files to upload are smaller) and upload.

My problem is not with You tube, but how the movie is published by WMM.

My laptop runs Windows Vista. I haven't done anything different, to other vid clips that that have published just fine, including 20 minute videos. You tube uploaded the clip as it was produced in Movie maker.

    Hate it when that happens.

I've heard of this before and from memory think you have to download something to fix it. Google it mate.
