I am a big fan of Revit gear...last year I bought a Revit Ignition Jacket.
It seemed to me at the time, that it was the best on offer, as it had removable quilt liner/waterproof liner and would be a great summer jacket...a prime 3-1 Jacket.
I thought I was buying a waterproof Jacket...but it is just the liner that is waterproof, not the jacket.
And the liner is so so at best.
Well, I have had it back a repair (albeit a small one) and ....when removing the removable liners, some of the plastic domes part company with each other…not really worth the money paid in hindsight. NZ$699 ….AUD$373
Waterproof?..no not really. All in all it’s a very good summer jacket.
There is the all new Revit Ignition 2 jacket out now but, I have my sights on another.
The Revit Phoenix Waterproof Jacket..AUD$386.00
Sales pitch…
The PHOENIX jacket offers the same functionalities as the popular IGNITION jacket yet with a sportier cut. Mesh panels on the arms, back, and chest of this ventilated jacket keep you cool in warm weather, while the 3-layer membrane functions as a wind barrier to keep you dry when the rain starts falling.
I will probably be buying the same problem but won’t be spending as much.
The big difference is...the Pheonix is a waterproof Jacket.
The Ignition are a good Jacket, good fit etc, and I have seen a few of them being worn, just not worth the money you pay here in NZ in my opinion.
